Sources Policy

For Scam With Your Friends, official Steam material is the baseline. Community material is useful for identifying player-facing issues, but it is not treated as proof on its own.

Where our information comes from

• Official Steam store listing for identity, platform, modes, tags, and release status.
• Official Steam updates and announcements for patch behavior.
• Clear secondary summaries only when they report official notes and no official text is available here.
• Labeled community guides only for creator details, with unsupported file details left out.

Verification and dating

Game facts were reviewed against sources available on October 20, 2026. A code is marked verified only after official confirmation. Playtest invitations and Steam product keys are never treated as in-game reward codes.

Uncertainty

When information cannot be confirmed, we say so directly instead of guessing. Rumors are either excluded or clearly marked as unverified.
